Growing Granddaddy Purple seeds

Granddaddy Purple is a hardy and versatile strain that can easily be growin indoors and outdoors. It reaches an average height of 180cm and thanks to its Big Bud genetics will yield up to 500g/m2 flowering in 10-12 weeks.

When growing GDP it is a strain that is very well suited to the Scrog method where you will use a net like structure to manipulate the shape of the plant in the vegetative stage to develop a flat wide canopy. This method encourages the plant to produce multiple large bud sites which massively increases yield.

Remember however, that Granddaddy Purple is the offspring of the Big Bud strain and so produces large oversized buds. If using the Scrog or LST methods remember to support those big dense buds during the flowering stage by trellising otherwise the weight of the bud may become too much for the branch.
